Hi my names Marquita Gargan, as a designer with a passion for colour and pattern this blog is to share all of my thoughts, inspirations and most importantly my journey through this exciting process of design.

Using photography to capture my inspirations from the outdoors of the beautiful coastline or the magnificent wonders of nature within botanical forms, a process of experimentation and exploration begins that eventually produce designs.

Spending a lot of time on the water, surfing and rowing, a huge part of my design inspiration also comes from the spectacular range of effervescent hues, formations and lines within the oceans water. Cornwalls coastline provides a critical space to compliment the structures and figurations of the ocean within my own work and combine the two opposing landscapes.
